A Tribute, Donations, and a Welcome

We want to thank everyone who has made the sweetest comments and sent the most wonderful messages honoring Vader, Kev, and Amigo. It has made a devastating week easier to bare.

With our commitment to go forward, we have seen several things: One, God is always working, event when we don’t understand. Two, God has a plan, and we will trust it even when we don’t have all the answers. Three, we can always trust Him to hold us up when we feel weak.

Talking to people at our relief station in Black Mountain yesterday, and seeing the devastation from the flooding and storms in Virginia, West Virginia, Kentucky and beyond today, we are reminded God has called us to trust him and move onward, and He has provided for us yet again.

Welcome to the Mule String:

Thank you to a generous donor for CHARLIE. He is a handsome John mule that seems to have a kind and sweet personality. We had about five minutes of introduction with him before he donned his blue blanket and joined his new team in the trailer to head to Virginia!

Generous Donations:

And, we are so grateful to our partners and friends at Orphan Grain Train for their generous support in donating two mules of a different type to our team! Kawasaki Mules will be crucial in beginning outreach and gathering intel on the ground to know where best to send the true powerful mule string in with supplies. And later, when the roads are more accessible again, the Motorized Mules will help carry supplies in to homes so the mule string can rest!

We appreciate these blessings more than we can express! We appreciate everyone who supports Mission Mules and all of the plans God has in front of us. We will carry on and find more strength every day!
