Packing Mules With Care

Preparation is key…there are many steps that go in to every relief trip with the mules to ensure their safety and comfort.

Each mule is groomed, saddled, and their load is prepared prior to being packed and put into the pack string. Each load is carefully weighed and balanced for the mule before being covered with a manty to protect the loads from weather and trees, and then the load is tied off with a lash rope.

Once all mules are loaded, the stringing process starts and mules are placed one behind the other to be led by their packer.

Your financial and supply donations allow us to keep filling these packs of relief!
